This Rock Climbing Page Is Dedicated To Climbing In Western Washington State. More Specifically The Following Climbing Areas: Exit 38, Little Mt. Si, Mt. Index, and Indoor Climbing Areas Including: The REI Pinnacle Located In Downtown Seattle and Vertical World Gyms in Redmond And Seattle And The Location Of My First Climbing Experience - Marymoor Park Climbing Area Also In Redmond. All Of These Areas Offer Varied Terrain And Difficulty.

My Name Is David And I Have Been Climbing Since June 1996. After 2 Years Of Climbing Off And On, I Have Attempted Routes As High As 5.11a's With Leads On 5.9's (routes with bolts (no cams or nuts)). It Ain't Like What You See In Climbing Magazines But, It's Enough For Me For Now. Although I Am New To The Sport I Have Found It To Be An Incredible Rush To Climb To The Peak Of A Route Knowing That At Almost Anytime A Slip, A Missed Step, Or A Poor Hand Hold Can Lead To A Fall. The Knowledge Of The Proper Equipment And Skills As Well As A Respect For A Little Thing Called Gravity Leads To A Sport Where Relativly Few Venture.
