Spiron's Moon is a medium sized moon orbiting the blue-green gas giant - the single planet in the entire system. The gas giant itself is located near the edge of the Drighton Terminus, providing the planet's inhabitants a spectacular view of the nebula.
The planet itself is covered in vast deserts and wide plains, with some small urban settings scattered planet
wide. The deserts of Sprion's Moon aren't your typical Tatooine vast expanses of endless burning sand,
harsh and unforgiving. Instead the terrain consists more of rock mesas, dry stretches, grassy areas and
natural formations. Small lakes can be found, and there are higher elevation regions with measurable levels
of snowfall and precipitation. On the whole, this variable climate makes the planet surprisingly
habitable.
There is no major population center on the planet, mainly smaller settlements and villages dotting the planet.
The main spaceport city of Zobra could be consider the gateway to the planet, but only because they have
the ships arriving and departing. In addition to the Standard class spaceport, several other communities
also have landing facilities. The villages of Loretto and Chiamyo also maintain limited service level
spaceports. And of course nothing keeps the adventuresome from just landing on a broad and flat
unoccupied area.
Planetary government and law enforcement is fairly loose and often subjective. This controlled anarchy
strangely enough works. In addition to a great number of citizens carrying weapons ranging from
slugthrowers and pistols to blasters, roving lawmen and gunfighters patrol the settlements keeping the
peace. This system, coupled with a healthy dose of self preservation amongst the population keeps trouble
at a minimum. Crime and lawlessness does still occurs, but the planet is not quite the den of thieves,
mendicants, and villainy as one might imagine.
