- Sales Associate -- Software Etc, Lynnwood, WA. Answered phones, greeted and assisted customers, alphabetized merchandise, worked with a cash register, cleaned and organized the store. Was awarded "Employee of the Month" twice. July 1996-August 1997.
- Office Assistant -- BBS International, Seattle, WA. Answered phones, filed documents, photocopied and performed daily organizational tasks. June 1995-August 1995.
- Volunteer Hospital Escort -- University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle, WA. Transported patients and materials to various locations throughout the hospital. June 1994-August 1994.
Examples of Web Authoring Skills
- Down To Earth -- I created this page as a way to help advertise my Grandmother's novel, "Down To Earth." It includes a real media interview with the author, excerpt from the manuscript, brief biography of the author, contact information and a petition to support the publication of "Down To Earth." Fall 2000 - Present.
- CCF Elderly Ministries -- This project was created as a resource for volunteers in Campus Christian Fellowship at Western Washington University. It is designed to attract new members and provide information for current ministry enthusiasts. The CCF Elderly Ministries page is a work in progress and at present is password protected until it becomes officially accepted. Summer 2000 - Present.
- Online Quiz -- I worked on this project in a team setting (three other students) for a JavaScript class at Western. It is a prototype for any teacher who wishes to quiz their students on the Internet. I specifically engineered a way to store the quiz results and student information in a cookie in addition to helping create question objects and a hidden form to submit results to the "teacher." Designed specifically for Internet Explorer 5. Spring 2000.
- Dice Games Etcetera -- This project was an individual exercise, created for an HTML class at Western. It is basically a site detailing the history and use of dice throughout the ages. Winter 1999.
- The Frontier -- An ongoing personal web experiment, designed to explore my interests, work and hobbies. Spring 1997 - Present.
