From the mind of Lobster
James Bond movies were a huge inspiration to me growing up. Sure the story and the action was pretty good but the things that stole the show for me every time were the gadgets that Bond had. Explosive rocket pens or amphibious sports cars, it was all grade A fuel for my fertile imagination! And we all know what happens when you mix fuel and fertilizer! *ponders this* Hehehe, well since I was just a kid keep in mind these inventions were limited to what little components I could cobble together.
The lock on the door to my room was one of my favorite inventions. Before I created that lock people would freely enter and leave my room. Sure it was the only way to get to the only bathroom in the house but what about my privacy?
Electric greeting cards that play music are quite common today. I created a prototype as a kid because I was bored and didn't have any $$ to buy my mom a Mother's Day card. It turned out rather nice.
The reluctant tape recorder, that's what I called my cheapo GE walkman that I received for my 13th birthday after I got done with it! :)
Super Lobster Brothers, the first video game I ever wrote! It was a complete and total rip-off of Super Mario Brothers but I just wanted to make sure I could do it. Amazing what a lobster can do if he puts his mind to it.
Frosty Bars, the lightbar menu system for RENEGADE BBS. That was actually the last thing I did that I was really proud of.
Miscellaneous, only better than average but still worth mentioning achievements.
