A Well Lit Hallmark Moment

I don't remember how old I was when I decided to make my mom a mothers day card. But I took out some construction paper, took apart some christmas lights, some glue and a 9 volt battery clip. I slapped them all together and gave it to my mom, who was very impressed as I remember...

It wasn't perfect, you had to hold the card in just the right places for some of them to come on, I drew little circles in the areas that she should hold the card up with for it to work best. It was really cute, and on the back I did my best to imitate the Hallmark logo and I wrote Hallmark and a silly little embellishment for it as if it were an acronym.

I'm not terribly fond of this creation but my sister recently reminded me of it and I kept it in recent memory so... :)
