For years Les Campbell created original Christmas, Hanukkah and birthday cards for friends and family. Granted, he probably isn't the only one out there doing so, but Les' cards are different -- really different. First, Les is a skilled graphic artist and illustrator familiar with all aspects of the printing process. Second, he is a very funny man (ha-ha funny and strange funny -- the complete package!) whose wit and pith are legendary among those who know him. This fertile blend of levity and artistry makes for some pretty high-class and hi-larious cards.

Each holiday season several folks on our card list will implore Les, after wiping the tears of laughter from their eyes, to please, please produce a line of cards that they can inflict on their own correspondents. And now, after a decade or two of hemming and hawing, Les and I (Rebecca Gleason, his devoted wife) have finally formed Greetings from Uranus. We began with a line of holiday cards for 2004 as well as a set of t-shirts celebrating our beloved adopted hometown, the eclectic and eccentric Bellingham, WA. We've added to the mix birthday, Valentine, get well, new baby, new home, thank you and thinking of you cards, and we'll be adding other cards as they pop into Les' (and, occasionally, my) head.
