     The First Millennial Foundation is based on the book The Millennial Project by Marshall T. Savage.  This book provides an outline for a realistic and feasible plan to help us on our way to ocean colonization and beyond.  The plan consists of eight steps.  The first of which has already Aquariusbeen done; the establishment of the First Millennial Foundation.  The second step, which the Foundation is currently working towards, is the construction of a man-made sea colony.  This colony, known as Aquarius, will allow us to learn the lessons of enclosed ecosystems, as well as let us gather the revenue for future endeavors into space.
     The Foundation is a "go out and do it" organization.  We do not merely talk about what we are going to do in the future, we are actively working towards making it happen.  The First Millennial Foundation is an organization made up of its members, yet you do not need to be a member to be interested in us, or help us reach our goals.  If you would like more information on the FMF or want to get involved, go to The First Millennial Foundation.  If you want to get involved with the FMF Puget Sound Chapter send e-mail here.
