My quick (and hopefully brief) bio: I graduated from NMSU in December, 1991 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Just a plain Joe. Literally. Unfortunately, I graduated just as the economy was beginning it's rapid, downward spiral. I searched for a job the entire fall semester of 1991 and had 0 (zero, zilch, nada) offers by the time I graduated. Life sucked. Not having anyplace else to go (and I also wanted to move back to the Pacific Northwest - my home), I moved back home. My parents were soooooo happy to have me back. (Yeah, right. If you'll buy that, I've got a bridge to sell you). I started working at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort soon after moving back to Washington. Although I had originally started work as a Plow Truck driver for the Ski Area, I was able to evolve it into an engineering support position (the ultimate morph of jobs!). I worked as a general engineer for all of the mountain's projects. Everything from sewage treatment plants to water storage at the summit. The mountain during this time opted to purchase a First Tracks ticketing and lift access system and the needed a Systems Administrator to assist in installation. I was at the right place at the right time and accepted the position. Unfortunately, not all was roses and I resigned my position in June. I spent several months bumming around the country (everywhere from New Mexico to Oregon) until a contract position opened up at Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia. Sun Peaks had also purchased a system from First Tracks and needed a consultant to go to Kamloops and install the system.

And thus we arrive at my current state. On July 10th, I started working at WRQ. WRQ makes Reflection software that connects PC's to mainframes and UNIX machines. I'm working in their Technical Support Department answering questions about our software.

I work with a bunch of fun-loving people and I'm having a great time. I expect this postion to last for a while. So..... Cheers! I'll see ya 'round sometime!

Thanks for sticking through this boring glop until the end. Since you've gotten this far, please feel free to correct any erroneous dates or events above. Thanks again. And a hearty YITBOS to ya!
