Getting Ready for my Move...
It is now March 28-a year and a week since my accident. A friend has made it possible to move-helped with the gift of my last months rent!
There is a lot to do, with this ol' RV and all... Tomorrow I hope to call the Park Manager, and arrange a meeting. At that meeting I hope to give him some of my money that I may have a site reserved for me.
I'll have to get an overview of how a hook up is done, where I will locate, how long to get a phone connection, how long for cable connection, how/where to park my truck, the buss schedule and where it goes so that I can continue to take it to the hospital...
I will suddenly have toilette facilities available to me, but of course I will have to learn how to attend to those things, valve arrangements, etc...
I should have a better power source [30 amps v/s 10] and higher pressure water--my showers may last something less than 7 minutes soon...<G> 30 amps means that [after an hours calculations] I should be able to use my microwave again... and my quartz heater-I can put it on "high" now that it seems to be getting warmer...<G>
I will have to have a garage sale-this place is indeed small, and if I want space to have a visitor for supper <G> assuming I can get myself able to be able to cook every day--another challenge... I'll want that...
My site comes with basic cable, and that, as I understand it, includes Discovery and TLC and History channels and those are good indeed... I once could not understand people who watched TV... Now? Well, it works good when my brain takes a hike, and that occurs daily, sometimes many times a day.
