Aikido Port Townsend has been in operation for 15 years. We are a non-affiliated Aikikai style dojo. The school has ten students with black-belt rank.
Monthly dues are on a sliding scale from $30 to $50. There are no other fees.
Class Schedule
Monday: - 4:30pm - 5:30pm Kids Class
- 6:00pm - 7:30pm Advanced Class
The Monday night class is intended for brown and black belts and invited students.
Tuesday: - 5:30pm - 6:30pm Weapons Class
- 6:30pm - 7:30pm Beginners Class
The Tuesday night class is intended for new students. The focus is on basics and is an excellent opportunity for those new to Aikido
Wednesday:
- 6:00pm - 7:30pm Beginner and general Aikido Class
The first hour of the class is open to beginners.
Thursday: - Noon - 1:00 pm Beginner and general Aikido
Friday: - 6:00pm - 7:00pm Beginner and general Aikido
The first hour of the class is open to beginners and focuses on the
basic movements and skills required in Aikido.
- 7:00pm - 8:00pm Intermediate Class
The second hour of the class is focused on the Aikidoka with at least 1 year of training.

Townsend, WA.
Port Townsend is about an hour from Bainbridge Island and Bremerton
and about
40 minutes from Sequim.
Heading into Port Townsend on SR20/Sims Way:
- Turn right at Haines Place, across from Safeway.
You will be in the Boat Haven area and are close to Aikido Port Townsend. - Turn Left on 10th.
- Continue toward the water on Boat Street.
- Turn Left on Washington Street (at the waterfront.)
- Turn left on San Juan Ave.
- Follow the gravel road through the boat yard all the way to the back of the yard near the highway,
- Turn left and you will find our dojo on the second floor of the Port Towsend Rigging building.
