Suggested Stories to Send to Your Sponsored Kids

It's not easy to think of stories to send to your sponsored kids... What stories will translate well? What stories don't need pictures? I figured that I'd share some of the work that I'd done.

You may notice that I've done a little bit of editing on these stories... But then, you may not notice, too... I'm not the first person who has. From what I understand, there is no longer any copyright to these stories, which is probably part of the reason why there are so many versions... The changes that I've made have been with the hope that they'll help the story to be more understandable to my sponsored children. It is my hope that these are stories that portray a little about my culture, as well as being easy to understand and enjoy.

I'm formatting them so that they're easy to print out and send to your kids. If, for some reason, they don't print out well, please let me know:

The Elves & the Shoemaker is a story that I've always enjoyed. My sponsored kids seemed to like it too.

The Tortoise & the Hare is another one of my all time favorites.
