Sangeeta

Sangeeta is 10 years old and lives in New Delhi. She lives with both of her parents, an older sister, and several extended family members in New Delhi, India. According to the information provided by CCF, Sangeeta "...likes to play local games and is fond of running, dancing, and singing. She is a healthy, smart, and active girl."

I had a wonderful visit with Sangeeta, her family, friends, and the project staff in November 1998. We went on a day trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and other sites. It was a wonderful way to get to know Sangeeta and a few of her adorable classmates. Eventually there will be more about our visit in my "report" about my second visit to India. Below you'll see a photo of Sangeeta and I shortly before I returned home, as well as a photo of her beautiful grandmother.
